"May 12, 2008 Bulletin: ClickBank
updates its refund policy as
follows: Return Policy: Extended Timeframe --
UPDATE
2008-05-12
We are making a minor change to our posted
return policy effective May 28, 2008. The stated return policy
on our web site will change from 8 weeks (56 days) to 60 days.
The updated return policy will read as follows:
"ClickBank will, at its discretion, allow for
the return or replacement of any defective product within 60
days from the date of purchase. For recurring billing products,
returns for more than one payment may be provided if requested
within the standard 60 day return period. After 60 days all
sales are final."
If you want to keep the 8 week return policy
wording on your website, you may do so.
Please
note, however, that we will honor return requests made
within 60 days. If you want to post the
exact policy that we will have on our order form and web
site, you will want to make those changes on May
28th.
If you have any questions about this change,
please contact
Customer Service."
[Emphasis added above.]
Note:
In practice the term "defective product" is
freely interpreted to include practically anything that the
buyer was led to believe he was going to get with the product
that he found lacking upon inspection of same.
